I could do from .16 to 1.0 c feet for this 4"driver. Sealed and ported.
Can a TL enclosure could maximize mid bass, want to extract maximum bass with this driver. Which design could benefit me. Ahh if TL help please let me know dimensions and port length. :D Any other idea welcome too.

Hi,

For a driver with 4.5L Vas you'll gain little with any plain
box over 9L, its really designed for a small sealed box.
5 to 7 L well stuffed makes an ideal AV satellite.

Bigger vented alignments are all a bit wacky due to the
high Qts, and simply put you'd be better off with a bigger
driver, with higher Vas, lower Fs and lower Qts for any
vented box IMO.

TL or MLTL could work, but needs careful design.

rgds, sreten.

You get maximum bass in a ported cabinet of 0.3 cu ft tuned around 50 Hz. However the transient response of such an extreme alignment will be poor.
