What size boxes to build for these?
I would like to build simple but good boxes for these, have a shop and the tools just need some knowledge and advice.
Please let me know what size and interior clear cu.ft would be ideal. Also, if any fibre fill/insulation, interior bracing, sizing and material (ie. 3/4" mdf) etc. should be used.
If you have any reference pics or links to similar builds that would be very helpful as well.

I will be mounting the tweeters at the center of the mid as recommended by the manufacturer in the product document.

We will need a series of woofer specifications called the T/S parameters.
With these series of numbers we will be able to determine if the chosen driver will function best in a ported enclosure or a sealed enclosure. Once that is determined we can calculate the interior volume of both sealed & ported types. Further we can determine what length of a port tube for the ported style (Diameter of a six & a half should be appx. 2- 3") From there we can calculate a host of performance expectations as derived from some serious math formulas.
Okay this is the best I can get on these, please see attached. Also, I did have these in a custom car sealed enclosure previously where they worked great, lets stick with sealed.
A car is not a house. The room matters so don't assume what works in a car works in a house. Now, I prefer low Q sealed boxes so I agree, but you need to do the modeling to see if they will provide the performance in your house you are looking for.
You need to do some reading. We will help you, not do all your work for you. You know, the "Y" in DIY? Go download one of the many free box design packages. I use WinISD. Everything you need is on the bottom of that chart. For a sealed box, basically Qts and Fs is close enough. Ported you need a few more numbers from the chart.
They are car speakers with a high Fs, low Vas and highish Qts.
Sealed and well stuffed 7L to 10L is a about as big as it is worthwhile
doing, but they'll also have no real bass and will need a subwoofer.
Also the x/o's are not designed for small boxes, they are designed
for flush mounting in cars , so you'll have no BSC, which will make
the very restricted bass sound even thinner.
No doubt they'll go pretty loud, but are a world away from something

These would go well in TQWP boxes, check mine out. There is more than enough bass and no need for baffle correction, but do require a bit more work. Crossover at 2500 Hz.

Why not choose a design that both allows a closed or a ported design, i.e.: To convert the submitted suggestion to a closed box,just plug a 2" cork into the Port.
I do have a separate subwoofer and will be using a NAD t775HD to power these until moving into separates in the future. The NAD t775 is being shipped currently.
One of the questions I meant to ask was how to deal with crossovers for this build, should I use the ones that come with, but they are designed for car audio. Or does my NAD have the ability to deal with this? I do not know how to build a crossover.
