I have a lot of drivers, but always wonder about a new project with them, something that keeps me satisfied for a long time. I like a full range speaker that goes down to the first bass octave, so it got to be a tower or a big speaker.
These what I have: 15" JBL 2215H 15" Altec 604 15" Dayton 385 series II 8" full range fostex FE206 10" ScanSpeak 26W/8861T00 6,5" Scan speak mid bass 8545 Scan Speak Illuminator Tweeter What project should be best? |

You can use the Scan-Speak 18W/8545 as a mid or as mid/woofer in a 2-Way or 3-Way, lot's of choices here.
Compact Studio MonitorKIT # http://www.humblehomemadehifi.com/do...Mk-II_copy.pdf SS 26W/8861T00 3-Ways Jenzen-Illuminator Jensen-1071 There's a nice project for the Fostex FE206E and maybe you can use it with a woofer/sub like the JBL 2215H in a BR with volume ~>130L. In relation to the ALTEC 604-(?) There's about 5 different versions of this driver, always use complete denominations. They have higher SPL relatively to the JBL. http://www.madisound.com/pdf/fostexdrivers/FE206E.pdf 2215H 15” low bass used in UREI 813C (order from UREI as replacement) http://www.jblpro.com/pub/obsolete/2215.pdf http://tms.plala.jp/pdf/JBL_Pro_Comp.pdf UREI 813 Studio Monitors with JBL and co-axial transducers. And layout with section from crossover for JBL 2215H here. (pic1 & 2) 1977 UREI 813 Studio Monitors http://www.jblproservice.com/pdf/URE...s/813C-L,R.pdf |

Build subs out of some of the 15's, then build a nice three way tower from the SS stuff. Sell the rest to pay for the crossover. That way you don't try and make the 10 inch SS do more than it should.
