Hello!
I have pair of the ss9300 tweeters. The problem is that other tweeter sounds a bit darker than the other. Both are almost new and the crossover is working (I have swithed the tweeters). So what is wrong with the tweeter? sorry my english... I'm from finland. |

It's always possible that one has a problem. When I got mine I had to realign the voice coil. It had slipped slightly during shipping and caused a buzz at certain resonant frequencies. Tightening the screws, once aligned, prevented this from occurring again.
You say they're new - giove them a little time. If they still sound noticeably different after 100 hours of break-in then I would return them to the dealer where you got them and get a second pair. Goof luck, Bob |
