While testing my miniDSP with some cheapo full range drivers, i was struggling to keep them in line.
I found a magnetic knife holder, and the speakers stuck pretty well too it.
Could this approach be scaled up, having one single long line of magnets, with the speakers magnetically attached, having no baffle, no complicated frame.
Drivers could moved around to allow for alignment and removed with ease. visually unobtrusive.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
You would have to make the right choice of speaker drivers....which I don't have
visually would/could look like the Kyron speakers

Yes - doing anything below 200 Hz without any baffle could be plain stupid. You need to do a bit of homework regarding Open Baffle.
But Studio Au has stopped half way down the road anyway.
Attaching speakers magnetically to a common backbone would still transmit vibrations from driver to driver. How about suspending drivers individually from wires?
