Hello all I've recently acquired some Audax AP130Z10 mid bass drivers. Can't seem to find any information about them.
I'm thinking they may be based around the AP130Z0?? However they have a phase plug! PLEASE any body know anything about them? Audax site seems not to list them. Any help would be greatly appreciated Cheers steve |

Dont know the model. Is it a shielded plasic chassis Aerogel with a phaseplug? If it has 70% of HM130Z10 goodness you have a killer midbass there!

Hmmm you buy them thru ebay??
If you did then I saw them too I emailed the guy with them about them, not being able to find anything about them. He said they were specialist manufacture custom drivers I forget the make and place they were used. However they look very similar to the AP130Z0 but a little different. Anyway if you paid under £30 for the pair you have a good set of drivers. As maplin sell the AP130z0 a pair for not much more then that. Anyway I hope they work out well.

Thanks for the replies. It is indeed a shielded, plastic chassis, phase plugged driver. Not sure what Aerogel looks like though.
I did buy them thru ebay, but the guy knew very little about them. I've had contact with ts295. Still no information. A quick listen to them and they don't sound too bad. I think a little experimentation may be on the cards! Cheers for the assistance Steve |
