Again, thanks to everyone for taking the time to help on this.
I have conceived of a new variation on this theme. If we still accept the Tapered Bass Box, but continue the slopes of the box up into the MTM upper box, how does that confuse the BSC. Referring to the sketch on the RIGHT. The upper box would be a Midrange/tweeter/Midrange with all the bass handled by the lower box. Not that is Mid-RANGE not Mid-Bass. But by continuing on with the sloping sides of the lower cabinet consistently up into the sloping sides of the upper box, I have have two Baffle Steps, one at the lower Mid Driver where the cabinet is wider, and another at the upper Mid where the box is lower. I'm guessing about 8" (from the drawing grid) at the bottom Midrange and about 6" at the top Midrange. Though likely, the bottom cabinet will be slightly larger than shown, making the width of the top section also slightly larger. (8" = f3 = 570hz, 6" = f3 = 760hz) See attached Diagram.
