I'm planinig to build a bookshelf speaker using Philips 9710 fullranges as woofer and B&C D32 horn super-tweeter.
the goal is to get highest sensitivity which I think is limited to 9710s 92-97db efficiency
I want opinions about weather this speaker is any good to build and crossover advices.
this the technical date of the tweeters:
TECHNICAL DATA D32 Nominal diameter 112 mm Nominal impedance 8 ohms Power handling , RMS 18 W Power handling ,cont.program 50 W Sensitivity (1W – 1m) 107 dB Frequency range 5 - 19 kHz Voice coil diameter 32 mm Recommended crossover 5.5 kHz DC resistance , Re 4.6 ohms Dispersion pattern 40 deg diaphragm material mylar Force factor , BL 1.2 Tm Voice coil inductance , Le 0.08 mH Baffle cutout diam. 75 mm Net weight 1.1 kg
I also have a pair of 9710s
any help is appreciated
