Does anyone know of a decent drop in replacement for the tweeters for Boston Acoustics HD8 speakers? The faceplate is 4" x 2.75".
I bought a set of HD8's from a Craig's List seller today and one of the tweeters is blown. No readings on the multimeter.
I only paid $50 for the pair of speakers and just the replacement tweeters on ebay are that much or more.
The speakers look almost mint. Even the foam surrounds look brand new. The speaker that is fully functional sounds great, but I may just end up parting them out.
