Hello,

I want to build a bass midrange line array and am thinking of using either 10 x TC14 or 6 x TC 18 Vifa drivers per box.
These will be crossed over to a large ribbon at about 800hz to 1000hz via a digital crossover.

Has any one any experience with these drivers ?
Are there any other drivers in that price range that might be better ?
Any opinions ?.

Bass is not an issue as I use and like subs.

Thanks,

Branwell

Hi Branwell.

I've just began a new project armed with TC14
But I only use one per speaker. :xeye: :)

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

(Tweeter = Peerless CT62)

Theese speakers which I ( and some other ;) ) call EPS - EasyPeasySpeaker are for my girlfriend.

I'm currently useing this filter:

No messurements have been made yet, I recon a lower XO (~3kHz now) "bigger" bafflecorrection and greater damping for CT62.

TC14 sounds great, lot of bassextension for a 5,25"-driver!
Works well high up in frequency.

I hope it helps you in some way.

Sincerely
