As long as the rear cooling vent is not obstructed, no problem. For high power continuous use best to have at least 1/2 the diameter of the vent width for rear depth, for lower power 1/4" or so should be adequate.
Gluing some aluminum foil or a thin piece of aluminum on the wood behind could help with heat transfer.
