I have planed to build 3 way speaker. But have not midrange driver yet, just Woofer and tweeter (SB Accoustic 6" SB17NRXC35-8 + Twitter : vifa XT25TG30-04 . Does any one can help me to give advise what compatible midrange for these drivers, the driver below :
1. Woofer SB Accoustic 6" SB17NRXC35-8
Nominal Impedance = 8 ohm
DC resistance, Re = 5.7 ohm
Voice coil inductance, Le = 0.15 mH

B 80 - 8 Ohm
and on this small size, Monacor have a few new improved hi-Q verisons of older proven designs
dont know if they actually are better, but the old 5" SPH130 have had very good reputation

i havent tryed this one but there´s a thread here about it , search for scanspeak 10F
10F/8424G00 - Scan-Speak 4 inch wideband coated fiberglass - Europe Audio
10F/8424G00 - Scan-Speak 4 inch wideband coated fiberglass - Europe Audio
what does it mean B 80?
should be a link ?
its a new Visaton 80mm midrange
hmm, If I were doing a three way I would not have opted for a 6" for the woofer, probably an 8" minimum and maybe a 10" or 12"!!
I've got a couple of these SB Acoustics :: 4" SB12MNRX25-4 which I haven't managed to use yet, but I felt that they would make excelent mids in a three way
Tony.

actually, Im thinking about a 2.5way using SB 8" and 6" together
tweeter could be anything, but definately a waveguide in any case, somehow
