Default Options to attach grilles?

What are the typical ways to install a custom grille on a one-off DIY cabinet with a veneered baffle?? I see rare earth magnets being sold for this and I assume that you either put the magnet or some metal into the baffle (under the veneer perhaps) so you get an invisible effect with the grille off but I am not sure.

What are the options for "best practices"?

Thx

What I do is use neodymium magnets countersunk into holes into the back of the grille board, with those hole centers line up with the centers of some of the heads of the driver mounting screws/bolts. I epoxy the magnets into the countersunk holes. I've attached some photos from my most recent build, the RS duets. The four magnets line up with four of the woofer's mounting screws.
