Is alive and kicking. Little update. I got some altec 288-16K. Securing some Altec 416-8's. Just got to decide on a horn profile. Gotta finish my B4 as well. Gonna need it on this one. Actually, may not be enough for phase alignment. May haev to go fancyier on that. Oh well, nother project

288's for $300. Not bad. THey are the ferrite, so I dont get the Alnico magic, but if I like them enough, I can always upgrade. Dont have to worry about remag, at least. The 416's are still in negotiation.
May just get them at a steal. Cones are in great shape. I found out that remag can be done locally, so no worries there. I am getting just a little giddy about the whole thing
