Am currently using audax AP130Z10 drivers in a 5.5 litre sealed enclosure, linaeum tweeters from genexxa lx5s, lx5 crossovers with a eltax active sub. I'm now looking to build another set of stand mouted near-field speakers - learning from the mistakes of my first set. I'm looking at using audax HM130Z0 drivers (cos i can get them quite cheap and i like my current drivers so thought these are worth a go), not sure about what tweeters i should use, enclosure size or crossover design, and have struggled to find any inspiration on the web. Does anyone have any suggestions? Am happy to tinker until i'm happy, but am not really upto designing crossovers other than plugging frequency values into winisd). Would be very grateful - have had a play with WinISD and these drivers and it points to a pretty small enclosue - whether ported or sealed which surprised me seeing the poly natalia, using this driver, uses a 12l sealed enclosure. any ideas in general would be appreciated, i'm fairly stubborn over the drivers i think, but otherwise open to suggestions. Thanks in advance for any help.
