Default Crossover design question

Question, I'm going to be building a crossover to crossover a midrange and a tweeter. I'm shooting for approx 5-6k, 12 db/octave slope. Now I have never build a X over before, but I have done circuit boards etc. Now, the nominal impedence of the driver is listed at 8 ohms, however at the crossover point I want the impedence graph goes up to 10 ohms. Which/what value should I use?

Ideally you would use an impedance compensation network to flatten it, then design around 8ohms, but I would first try it designed around 10ohms and give it a listen before adding any more parts than necessary in the signal path.
