Is this a back-loaded horn?

I'm trying to figure these custom speakers out, so any help or comments would be welcome. I've contacted the local seller for more information, but the few pictures provided look like the 8" woofer is back-loaded in that large, curved cabinet with a port? It seems like a decent design and nice build for a 3-way speaker, so I'm going to try to get my ears on them. The seller is recommending a high power amp which I think is interesting, but it could be to reinforce the bass.

I'd also be interested to see what the XO design is, and I'm sure the speakers could be breathed on with a few premium parts if the foundation is good enough.

Is there a horn mouth below the drivers in front? The back is ported and in the first pic it looks like there is a side port or mouth or something.

It does look like some sort of mouth, but the mouth an port combination is not something I'm familiar with; maybe for good reason.

I'll continue to speculated until I can get my ears on them...

Assuming the crossover was designed for the speakers within the cabinet, "breathing" different parts having different TS parameters in to the foundation will end up having very bad breath.
