Haven't heard that particular model, but HDS drivers in general have a good reputation. I'm using 6.5" HDS drivers (831735) for my midbass; everyone who has heard them likes the clarity and natural quality of the sound. A friend has 8" HDS drivers (830869), and they are similarly very good.

Hi,

How it sounds depends on how you use it, but it should be a high
quality midrange driver used correctly, there is no reason why not.

It needs carefull matching to the bass driver(s) regarding BSC.
