Help with a crossover design...
I'm thinking of building a pair of mini-monitors based around Tang Band's 6" midbass W6-789s (http://www.nuera-acoustic.ca/product...ts/w6-789s.jpg) and their 1" silk dome tweeter 25-669SD (http://www.partsexpress.com/pdf/264-802.pdf). Any thoughts on what would be a good crossover frequency and slope for these? These will be to go with my 8" Transmission Line Subwoofer.
By any chance does anyone have any experience with the W6-789s? I like the look and the idea of the structured Santoprene surround. I think the tweeter I'm using is also used in the GR-Research AV-1s. The sensitivities of both the woofer and the tweeter are identical (91dB). |
