Here you have a DIY speaker from a fellow I know.The 20 cm woofers are from the discovery series of ScanSpeak.I also bought 4 of those units for 230 Euros.
By the way these spreakers are for sale

I'm building a wwtmww and I went with Seas L22 H1208. Planning to cross at 250-400 Hz so the breakup should be a non-issue. Why L22? Simply because I had them and they're reputable and goes really low.

They're used in Romans Alpheus mk II for example.

No idea about the quality of these but 33 when buying 8 or more is at least a really good price for a brand like Usher.

anyone noticed anything about a new 8" Usher, 8136-K, optimised for closed design ?

my alternative would be SB Acoustic's 8", with almost exact same specs
