I got information from Solen.ca on the Veravox 3X that I bought. They told me it's the same as the Omnes Audio BB3.AL. Anyway, here are the specs (translated partly thanks to a German poster here):
Veravox 3 Impendance: 8 Ohm DC resistance (RE): 5.4 Ohm Resonance Frequency: (FS) 107 Hz Mechanical damping (Qms): 7.24 Electrical damping (Qes): 1.0 Free air total damping (Qts): 0.88 Equivalent air volume (Vas): 1.11 Moving mass: 2.5 g Suspension stiffness: 0.89 mm/N Mechanical loss: 0.2 kg/s Effective cone surface (Sd): 28 cm^2 Power factor (Bxl): 3 N/A Voice coil inductance (Le): 0.17 mH Voice coil: 24 mm/ 4 mm Cone displacement: + - 1 mm Outside diameter: 79 x 79 mm Inner diameter: 69 mm Depth: 40 mm Flange thickness: 2 mm Anyway, I wanted to pair these Veravox 3X full range drivers with woofers so I could unload the bass movements from the FRs. ![]() So, does anyone think I might need to go with 6-1/2" woofers instead? I was thinking of either the HiVi L5-8R or Dayton Audio DC130 5 inchers partly because they would probably fit better on my desk (in desktop enclosures).

I put those numbers into Unibox to find the efficiency: 85dB @2.83v/1m
ideally your woofer will need to match (or slightly exceed) that. How big a woofer you use depends on: how large a box you can put up with, how low you want the woofer to go. I suggest you put the parameters of the two drivers you mention into Unibox and see how they will perform.
