Default Anybookshelf Full range speaker close to Totem mani-2

I really want to build a True full range bookshelf speaker which can go to lower 20 min 25hz minimum...if it is possible...

Mostly i am trying to replicate the sound from i have Totem mani-2 full range bookshelf speaker ....

is there any already DIY design out there....which can help for this....

any help or direction is much appreciated....

I recently had those and they have beaten some full range speaker i had... i am kinda biased with speaker without needing the sub....

I want to give Satori MW16P (bloody pricey indeed) a shot.
Despite being marketed as a woofer, the frequency response (on and off axis) are pretty extended. Just add a super tweeter will do. No, it can't do the lowest octave on a bass reflex, but a rear loading horn or transmission line? I don't know...

If you want a bookshelf speaker with relatively deep bass, then you need to look for low sensitivity speakers and not play them too loud.
Some MarkAudio or Tangband will do that.
When you write: "which can go to lower 20 min 25hz minimum...if it is possible..." it depends on how loud you want this bass relative to the loudness of the other frequencies. At full strength or even at -3db it will be very, very difficult to find FR units that can do this in a small box (even in a big box it is difficult). And the excursion of the cone when rendering deep bass may well muddle the general sound.

That Satori MW16P (bloody pricey indeed) is indeed quite interesting at first (2nd) sight...

I don't think the OP is talking about full range as a single driver speaker, but rather as 20-20k w/o subwoofer.

The Mani-2s are spec'd 29-20k +/- 3 dB.

The Mani-2s are two way speakers. Wrong forum.

Hi,

The mani-2's use isobaric loading like the old Linn Sara's.

Short answer is I don't know any current diy design with really serious bass.
Not in a small form factor, small bookshelf kind of way. An old design :

Extremis

rgds, sreten.
