Default Replacemaent tweeters Joseph RM7

I have an older pair of wonderful Joseph RM 7s with the Infinite slope crossover. Both Tweeters blew out within minutes of each other. What would be a good pair of replacements? Thanks,Chet

They probably can be repaired. Members of this forum might help you more if you mention your flag/country, not present for location.

You should try to replace the tweeters with the same thing.

Contact Joseph 1st, but if you take a picture (front & back, with legible label) of the tweeter it may be a stock unit (Joseph, AFAIK, uses a lot of SEAS drivers, available at Madisound). You also need to check the XOs

Hi,

Also Vifa tweeters in their earlier models, unlikely to be still made.

Pics, x/o details, i.e. any attenuating resistors, driver impedance etc needed.

rgds, sreten.

How did you blow them both ?
