Default Beyma 8cx300nd

Hey guys,
I could get two Beyma 8cx300nd Coax drivers quite cheap.
Since I was always intrigued by the looks of those drivers and the idea of a coax speakers, I'm really thinking about buying those.
Sadly you can't hardly find anything about those drivers - no reviews, no building plans, nothing.
Anyone of you got experience with them?
I primarly would use them for homecinema and listening to Rock/Electro, they would be supported by two Tangband W8Q-1071F.

regards,
Mike

You might contact member Charles (screen name "phase_accurate"), he's about finishing a design with them.

Other than that, it's a beyma, what else need to be said... this is excellent pro stuff (I'm biased, though). Passive XO will need some expertise and knowledge.

Really great drivers!!! I heard them, and you will be very happy with them, when you get the crossover right.

Well...
The XO was my biggest concern, since I don't have that much experience in XO design... .D

I think you could make quite a lot of noise with this combination. Do you already have these TB woofers ? Do you want to go active ?

Yeah, the TBs are already lying around - I alwas planned to integrate them into a big, modular sideboard.
At the moment I'm running a stereo setup with 2 active 15" Subs (each with his own poweramp) together with 2 larger bookshelfspeakers (the subs serve as speakerstands).
I used to run the system on a valve preamp + an old Marantz poweramp.
Recently I acquired a Marantz SR8002 - so the pre and poweramp will be replaced (the receiver is better sounding in my ears).
Active would be an option (together with a Behringer CX2310 or DCX2496 ) BUT I have no idea how I would realize this with an A/V receiver.

The room itself is more LEDEish furnished.

I have been curious about these too. Not much written about them anywhere. They are used in the Dynamikks DB8.2.

That is quite a nice data-sheet. But the proposals for fourth- and sixth- order bandpass boxes are a little awkward !

So anyway, any ideas for a passive XO?
