Hi and thanks for all the answers, its much appreciated!

i have downloaded holm and it works, but only have a db meter right now. now i just have to get my mic and mic amp back from a friend.

well that and try to understand how to make valid measurements in room so i can get my digital xover dialed in right.

can anybody suggest som reading that will help me in my "quest"?

I use REW ,

It's free and works very well , you can download it here :
REW - Room EQ Wizard Home Page
You can also measure TS parameters pretty accurate .
They have calibration files for a lot of SPL meters .
I use it with a Behringer UCA202 USB sound card and get very nice measurements for a few bucks !
I measured my Tannoy 3809's and the TS parameters are spot on .

Hi - before I delve into REW - I was wondering if it can be used to generate FRD and ZMA files? Looks like it captures SPL and phase - so FRD should be possible, and it captures TS parms - can it do ZMA files?
