Default THANKYOU!!

Thanks to all of you DiyAudio members for having this website, and your participation.

I have learned many things, and my stereo is sounding very good, as I have it dialed in a lot better, without even buying or building anything.

When I became a member of this site, I thought that there was something wrong with my tweeters, as they sounded edgy, fuzzy and would breakup if played at high volumes. After reading the crossover sticky I turned down the adjustment pots on the speakers.

There is still plenty of treble sound coming from the speakers (the tweeters work fine), and the bass end of the speaker can reach it’s potential without the tweeters breaking up (it actually goes a lot louder now). It’s a night and day difference!! So a big thanks. I am very satisfied, and enjoying music more than ever!

I would like to ask if anyone has read Speaker Building 201 book, Loudspeaker Design Cookbook 7th edition, or True Audio Introduction To Loudspeaker Design Book? Which one would you read first? I consider myself to be a novice, maybe an advanced novice if there is such a thing.
I can’t seem to find any of these available in an electronic format, for a tablet reader like Nook or Kindle.

Thanks in advance for any book suggestions, and again Thanks for all that you do to help us beginners!

Alex
