Default Speaker Ideas.. Need advice

Hi, I'm planning on making a set of 2-way speaker, and need a bit of advice on which drivers to use.

For the tweeters I am considering:
DAYTON Pt2 PLANAR TWEETER
PEERLESS 811966 1" FABRIC DOME TWEETER
DAYTON 1-1/8" SILK DOME TWEETER

For the woofers I am considering:
PEERLESS 850136 CSX 8" WOOFER
PIONEER B20GR30-51F 8" BUTYL SURR WOOFER
AUDAX HP210G0 8" COATED PAPER CONE POLYMER WOOFER

I need to know if these are good choices, and which would be the best choices, and the best value.

I don't think the Dayton Pt2 will match up well with an 8" woofer. It needs the crossover to be 2.5KHz or higher, even with a 4th order. My personal preference is no lower than around 3.5KHz if not using a notch filter at resonance.

2.5KHz is pushing it for an 8". Above 3KHz and it is time to turn it into a 3-way. Just my opinion.

For a 2way i think the Audax would be a better choice.
The Peerless probably better suited to a 3way.
The Pioneer well I dont think it rates compared to the others.
As for tweeters the planar wont do it,
the peerless is alright but with an fs of almost 1k dont go using it with an 8".
Personally I would start looking at 6.5" - the Peerless HDS 850594 looks nice, add a Vifa D25ag35-06 which is really easy to work with & great value for money, nice detail, smooth sound.
Even the Dayton HF would be a good match.
