Default Capacitors?

Hi,
I'm new to this and tried to search for it but no dice.
I recently picked up some 30 year old Realistic Mach 1's and am assuming the original x-over capacitors need to be replaced. What are reasonably priced replacements for the old electrolytics? I want a half decent pieces, but obviously don't want to drop too much cash into these speakers. Any suggestions?

Solen, Dayton, Mundorf (white ones) or WIMAs off ebay.

At Audiokarma there were a number of threads last year with xover mods and rebuilds. I sold my Mach Ones recently so I never made any changes, which worked out well as the buyer wanted them dead stock.

Hi,

Modern new electrolytics are dirt cheap and will make far more of an
improvement over tired old electrolytics than film types will over
modern electrolytics.

Next step up :

Smaller value electrolytics possibly replace with film types, bigger
ones simply make up with an electrolytic and smaller film bypass.

The PE metalized polypropylene capacitors are value film types.

rgds, sreten.
