I have this old woofer from a pair of Energy Veritas 2.4's. The glue gave out about 10-12 years ago and that was the end of it. It has been sitting in the box ever since. Fortunately I have a few extra new woofers and mid/tweeters in case this happens again. I am just getting ready to pull the six woofers and pu a bead of 30 minute epoxy on them to keep this from happening in the future. This brings me to my question. Does anyone have experience centering a phase plug back in a speaker? If so, anything you could tell me is appreciated. I was thinking that I might be able to shim it from the front, them pull the shims when the glue sets. The problem is the shim needs to be quite thin and strong in order to ensure all of it pulls out. I have attached a few pictures to give an idea of what it looks like.
