EBP and box

Hi everybody,

I need some advice.

What happend if I use a driver with EBP of (fs=110. Qes 1.02) 107 in a closed box, instead ported box?

What happend to the sound of the speaker.

As an example (comparing with this BR alignment) you will lose the frequencies from 50Hz-100Hz for a closed box F3=100Hz(+/-). Does this help you? In the case of a closed box the curve will be nice (no peaks) from 100Hz up.
This driver works nice in OB (simulations).

Technicalities... yes, different but the same, explain...
It all depends on the alignment desired.
dumptruck, that's not something I haven't said (text) on #4 and thank you for the graphs.
(note: all softwares are a representation and some/all not that accurate, to have in mind in posterior comparisons)

Inductor, yes it agrees with your text - I thought your graphic was showing a sealed 2.7 liters, now I realize it is ported at 54Hz, and correct .

Andres, it depends on how you are wanting to use this driver. You can see the bass response difference above. Unless you are using a high-pass filter on them, a single ported driver will begin to distort by about 2W, sealed 4W (about 85 and 88dB @ 1m, respectively).
