I was wondering how difficult it would be to convert a 2.1 setup to 5.1?
I recently bought a 2.1 setup, but am needing some good monitors, so I figured I'd put the 2.1's to use by converting it to a 5.1 setup. I'll be running it through a Saffire Pro 24 audio interface. I'm newb when it comes to this stuff, so please forgive me if I'm offending the audiophile community with my potentially ridiculous request lol. Thanks. ![]() 2.1 I'm referring to: http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-ProMed.../dp/B000062VUO |

Hi,
Your problem is amplification, the 2.1 system is a dedicated 2.1 system. It is not easy to add 3 further speakers with any convenience. rgds, sreten.
