Hi
I've been doing some box simulations for the SS 15W/8434G00 and I get a recommended Vb of around 3L. Is there a problem on using a 8 - 10L vented cabinet? It's Vas is 12,8L. Datasheet: http://www.scan-speak.dk/datasheet/pdf/15w-8434g00.pdf |

Hi,
Qts is really too low to use it anything other than as a sealed midrange, but used in the bass 8L tuned to 45 to 50Hz, seems workable, but you'll need plenty of baffle step compensation to get balanced bass. rgds, sreten.
