Default BLH w/ High Xmax Driver???

Back-Loaded Horn Question:
Is there anything wrong with using a driver that has a mid to high Xmax for a BLH design - (around 7mm / 3inches)?

What about a speaker with a mediocre sensitivity (~90 db) and higher power handling?

When you use a driver in a horn, using a front horn as the example as this is the standard method, you place the rear of the driver into a box which you use to balance it against the pressure caused by the horn. Drivers for a back loaded horn need to be chosen carefully as you don't have this option.

This process is often referred to as 'reactance annulling' if you wanted to read up on it.
