Default Anyone Recognise These Speakers?

I was wondering does anyone know anything about these speakers or know what they might be worth, if anything. They are a Peerless kit 3-25 from G.R.D.Instruments and cost $170 Australian at the time. One of them crackles sometimes when the volume is adjusted.

Specs are as follows:

Tweeter: MT 20 HFC
Crossover: 3-25
Crossover Frequency:
Upper: 4000
Lower: 750
Max. Power Watts: 25
Lower Frequency Range: 40
Upper Frequency Range: 18,000
In enclosure of Litres: 100
Internal Dimensions:
Height: 635
Width: 380
Depth: 412
Crossover Type: Parallel
Low Pass DB-Octave: 6
Band Pass DB-Octave: 6
Band Pass DB-Octave:
High Pass DB-Octave: 12

Thanks!

Reminds me of an old Philips I had but without seeing the back or cones it's anybody's guess.

With the DIN plug very good chance it is European. The box looks very diy, that you had a plate with that much info means that it was likly built from a kit. Philips did do that kind of thing, but the numbers don't jive, and their XOs were typical 1st order everywhere.

You'll need to pull the back off and take a pic of the insides (i would be VERY surprised if the back isn't held on with flat-blade screws).

That points to a problem with the volume control on your amplifier.

It maybe a Peerless Kit 3-25 from the early seventies, which was supplied pre-wired on a baffle board.Given its age, your problem could be caused by frayed flexible leads(pigtails),especially on the woofer.
