Default 2 way monitor without budget limit and with constant impedance

After 1 years of listener test and measurements finally the last crossover for my Monitor 3.

This new crossover have a constant impedance to match any vacuum tube and solid state without feedback so with low damping factor.

the Monitor 3

There is only one cap. and I have tested this types:

1) SRC Solen MKP
2) Clarity Cap SA
3) Jantzen Z-Cap

I notice you have settled on a shelf where the response above 2kHz is 2 or 3dB below what's below 1kHz. I'd like to know how you came to this preference.

Also how much difference do you find there is between the Jantzen and the Clarity?

Most important would be the midrange for low I think the second impedance peak could give with impedance equalizer better damping behavior.

When equalized both peaks at low end, I am curious if this doesn't change the sound dramatically. So I am waiting what you will discover Andrea.

In the listen test the Solen are much better than Clarity Cap and the Jantzen Z-Cap are a step over all.

With the new crossover the correction of the DRC is very low in the middle and high frequency band.

In the near future probably I need to work with the bass reflex length (see relative plot).
