Default Are these Selenium d220ti 's genuine?

Hi, guys

I am in a process of building open baffle project inspired by Emerald physics cs3 speakers.

I got these two selenium d220ti drivers but they seem kind of weird.
One of the diaphragms does not have anything written on it while the other one does.
And all the pictures of the drivers I found on the internet have an gold colored mesh in front of the driver, mine drivers have a rigid metal one.
I have attached pictures of both drivers.
Are mine drivers genuine?

The drivers are not that expensive so I don't really see someone making knockoffs but they kind of seem weird...

Thank you all
Lovro

Odd but I don't see the call for knockoffs at that pricepoint- I think they're legit, they look right but the lack of phragm printing on one, and the strange bugscreen are definitely oddities.

Yeah,
I have tried writing selenium an email but it automatically returned. It is the support mail they have written on their web :-/
I bought them from this guy: eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices
He also has a web page: About Us | Critesspeakers.com

The thing is that everything seems legit, he has 100% feedback, but the drivers are a little weird still..

I have had differences with Selenium products in the same shipment. The 205Ti tweeters had different markings on the 'phrams but otherwise looked and sounded the same.

The one that bothered me was the CO1P 15" Coax drivers. Different colour to the cones and a different dust cap. While I can always leave the grill cover on to hide the cones, the thing I can't do is change the density of the dust cover. It's a coax that has the small tweeter fart tube firing through the center. The attenuation of the highs is noticeable on the one driver. I purchased these as a buy out from PE and when I contacted them, they said sorry - sold out.

It's not a huge difference in the sound but there was no indication from Selenium that anything had changed.

What was your first clue that they were fake?

The fact that on the same page there are "3-way replacement LIKE the Klispsch AA",
or the new woofers "MODELED" on the pre-1985 Klipsch K-33E.

Maybe you got lucky, let's hope.
