Default Quick question

Hi everyone

I am fairly new to speaker building so far only having dabbled / copied a 2 way bass reflex design using a tang band 100mm full range driver and a 160mm woofer. Im pretty happy with the results considering what it cost me they sound great.

Anyway I was wondering if there is anywhere on this site (a single thread or area) that lists lots of different DIY speaker projects (or websites) so I could maybe pick my next project without hunting through google.

Any ideas for a 2 day medium sized monitor which wont set me back more than say £350 for parts / drivers and crossover would be appreciated.

cheers

I know the parts express forum has one explicitly for finished projects.

Hi,

Work your way through the links, but a good value design
using drivers from Europe Audio - Home page

https://sites.google.com/site/undefinition/diy/amiga
based on :
https://sites.google.com/site/undefinition/core-2-way
As both drivers are available at special offer prices from
Europe Audio. £39 for the bass mids and £19 for the tweeters,
I don't think you'll be able to find a cheaper decent combination.
(And you get free shipping for orders over £86, take note ....)

You could chuck more money at it, but with that sort of budget
area you could build this : http://www.zaphaudio.com/ZDT3.5.html

rgds, sreten.
