Default Suggestions for 10" in two way crossing to CD horn at 1200Hz

Does anyone have suggestions for 10" drivers for use in a 2 way crossing over at 1200Hz or so to a compression driver on a constant directivity horn?

I would like sealed box if possible, and a highish -3dB point is fine (say 60Hz) since I am going to use it with subs anyway. Goal is 115dB.

I have ordered a pair of Acoustic Elegance TD10S which seem like the best bet and had a scout around the Parts Express and Madisound website but nothing seems appropriate. And from the look of things it seems I might be waiting a long while for the AE drivers.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I dunno. Have you looked at pro stuff from Eighteen Sound, Faital, BMS, P.Audio etc?

Eminence Deltalite 2510 is perfect for your application. Although, their price has skyrocketed recently.

Sealed and a -3db around 60 Hz? That will require higher Qts and a resulting larger cabinet (relative to driver Fs).

Me thinks you should have gone for the AE dipole 10. That would also have had the advantage of a 2nd coil (powered with a separate amp) to make up for the baffle step loss.

How about Volt 2500.5?

It does 65Hz in a 26L vented box. 95dB/1w and 8.1kg magnet rather than the 0.42kg of the Seas above. Might cost a little more though.

The Seas 10s are nice, and you really don't even need a crossover with them. Yes, I've heard them used that way - it works.

But not great for the OPs project, he needs a pro driver.

It is pretty pretty good, 111dB vs the 116dB of the AE TD10S, but the F3 is too high, 89Hz with a 0.7 QTC.

That looks like a nice driver, but not widely available in USA
