Hello! My plan is to make a portable stereo boombox with a compact SEALED enclosure. All speakers sharing the same enclosure. After a long time of simulating different kinds of woofers I have decided to go with this 2-way setup! Please point me out if I am on the wrong track. However, my main question is how to build a second order XO for these speakers using components from this website?
2x Woofer: Peerless 830657 2x Tweeter: Vifa D26NC55-06 I will be using a 12V 2x25W amp6 t-amp from 41hz |

Hm, the "how to build a crossover" question is a loaded one, for sure! A proper crossover design depends on quite a few things that are specific to the drivers and the enclosure. It would be best to get Speaker Workshop and spend a little time learning how to use it, if you can get (or make) FRD/ZMA files for the specific drivers.
Give this site a read: FRD Consortium tools guide and Speaker Workshop Anything worth doing is worth doing well! |
