Default SB Acoustic monitors! Build log

Hey!

I'm starting a new project soon! It's a 2way monitor and i will build three of them, L,C,R.

I will use these drivers, not ordered yet so tell me if you think i should change!

SB29RDNC-C000-4 - SB acoustics 1.2 inch tweeter soft dome - Europe Audio
SB17NRXC35-4 - SB acoustics 6 inch midwoofer - Europe Audio

This will be the design of the speakers:

Im gonna do it with a minidsp first to tune it, then im going to convert it to a passive one!

Good design Tigerpolis after so many monitors you have made a nice new variation on the baffle design.

From spec and and price the SB-acoustics are very nice drivers I hope to see new pictures.

The top needs the chamfers more than the bottom.

Agreed, if you could facets around the top too that should help with diffraction effects.

Many monitors have the tweeter/mid on the bottom, to have it in a straight line, so the facets would apply in this case with the woofer on top.

Me too! But they are saying that the chamfer is better for the tweeter, but i dont like the looks of the chamfer on top!
