Presently have monster AVS2000 regulated power supply, Monster HTPS 7000 line conditioner, Sonic Frontier SL2 two piece tube pre-amp, EAD 7000 III DAC, a apir of Manley studio 250's (10 el-34 / 250 WPC mono block), cabled with monster sigma retro speaker wires, monster sigma retro from dac to preamp, monster sigma xlr from preamp to amps. Power lines are all monster powerline 400's. Music source is AppleTV and a Onkyo Music server. Speaker system in use are a pair of Klipsch Cornwalls (3 way system with horn loaded tweet and mid driver, 15" woofers). I have been in the horn scene for about 20 years. Before that, mylar domes. Thinking about a DIY project to try out some new drivers. Thinking mainly dome tweets and mids. Room is small at 14 X 16 with 8 ft ceilings. Any thoughts?
