Default Alternative driver for WE15A

Can I ask all of you who may have a valid alternative of the WE555 to a 4-way system so composed?
High: super tweeter
Medium-high: Iwata horn with JBL 2441 or similar
Medium-low: WE15A horn with driver ...? (I have the JBL 2482 is ok for a WE15A?)
Low: Shearer type horn with 02X18 "woofers
Thank you all for your answers
Best regards

According to the Klipsch historian the K55 driver was based on the WE55. I have seen some the K55 on some WE horns. It may not be perfect but it is an option and inexpensive.

I thinks it's going to be difficult to do with any modern driver.
There was a fellow in Italy who used to make 15A replicas. Maybe you could ask him. If you can't find him. maybe I can.

What is the specific frequency range you want to cover?

Imo, none of the Klipsh drivers shown here are suitable at all.

Hi Personal,
JBL2482 (2" driver, F-Xover 300Hz) isn't compatible with WE15A (dont cut the horn & 2") ... not OK.
Alternatives with JBL2482: Sato horn or WE66A (c.f.r Jean Fourcade)
Quid: what's the (real) upper response "Shearer" horn?
Note: for your 4-way horn system go for "actif-filter" (analog or digital).
Allez, salukes & good luck
Karel

Handicraft for Wood Horn

Based on this I'm guessing the lower freq. extension of the 555 has more to due with the 15A itself. With that in mind the JBL 2482 might be sufficient as long as you don't need extension to 7 kHz..

Again, as long as you don't need an extra octave on top - it should work as well or better (..from an objective viewpoint.)

Certainly can't hurt to try it out..

Hi ScottG,
I thought of using the JBL 2482 from 300Hz to 2kHz with the 15A, then Iwata horn with the JBL 2441 from 2 KHz to 7 KHz, what do you think?
Thanks
