Default Cheap speakers from China

Yesterday i got a e-mail from this company from China:

EUSS POWER

what catched my interest, was this transducer :

EUSS POWER

its identical to the RCF LF15G401

RCF - LF15G401

price per unit at usspeaker :

RCF LF15G401 Subwoofer - RCF 15" speakers - RCF LF15G401 speaker - RCF LF15G401 1,600 watt 15" speaker. RCF LF15G401 15" woofer and other RCF speakers available here.

Item Price: $299.95

Price at euss-audio :

us$ 64,00 ( !! )

they have also copies of B & C, and PHL......

from a ethical standpoint, its certainly not the best thing , to buy clones of famous brands, nontheless, the price is very attractive.....

I think the last time we had one of these threads we ended up with a couple of moderator warnings, so I'll keep my opinion short this time.

Don't do it.

They probably know the problem, but it might be not easy to get them quit. BTW, they send me pictures also of B & C, and PHL Audio clones.....

Yeah I think they call it "China Bashing" IMHO you should be able to voice your opinion as long as it's clean of profanity and aren't trolling.I feel if you can save someone some aggravation and more importantly wasting their money, so be it !!

Were talking about a country where alot of their companies are selling cheap knock-offs that are inferior. If they were sold anywhere else the opinion wouldn't change. So just leave China out of your sentence. "They are nothing more than cheap knockoffs IMHO" and probably sound like crap. You can always spend the $60 to find out

Initially, i thought they were selling speakers , that come from the same factory, that produces for RCF. Its not a secret, that many western companies do manufacture their goods in China. But then, the seller openly admitted, these were copies :

Dear Angelo,

a pair of LF 15G401 USD128.

we also have B&C copies, you can find pictures in attachments.

Regards & Thanks

Hmm, seller is using stolen image and description, and even the name of the driver. Why do you think it is a real driver? It could also be a scam, no driver at all! And even if you receive a driver after the payment, why bother about a clone, because reproducing a driver is not only copying the external view.
If it is too good to be true, usually it isn't.
My 2 euro cent.

RCF loudspeakers are made in Italy, I went to Reggio Emilia factory and saw it with my own eyes I cannot vouch for parts, though. Anyone can make them, but the assembly is the most important part of the production. This is where the big boys separate from the losers.
