Hi,
I'm looking for a speaker cabinet builder for a 2-way speaker project. Dallas/Fort Worth area would be a plus, but anywhere in the US is fine. Thanks in advance! |

You might try talking to Bob Brines:
Brines Acoustics He hand-builds some nice single driver full-range speakers. Perhaps he would do a one-off. Cheers, Jim

Steve does nice work, but he needs to work on concealing his nail holes a little better. His putty work sticks out like a sore thumb.

I've done cabinets for a number of folks who have been very happy with them. I'm in Virginia if you have problems finding someone closer. I've sent my work to NY, Missouri, Chicago and Indiana.

Another hand up, I finished these last night. Keep me in mind ~ in Maryland. Open face only, not big on grills.
I made about $2.00 hour X 40 hours, but I enjoy it. |

as a new addict to speaker building, Doug could probably use the cash flow to subsidize his next half a dozen pairs nice work on the two-ways -- but for Wife Approved bespoke work you might want to get used to working with grilles two words: buried magnets (the best of both worlds)

My dad and I built a pair of big box speakers in 1969; I never stopped making them.
I'm a speakerholic (my name is Doug). The speaker budget is okay; I don't know where to put them all. |

Sorry I've been busy and haven't gone back to this thread.
I'm looking for someone to build a finished cabinet for a bass-reflex monitor speaker, real wood veneer etc., professional quality. |
