Hi,
I am trying to drill a small hole in the top of this speaker to install a wall bracket. I want to open up the speaker first to make certain I do not destroy anything essential. Does anyone have any instructions on how to remove the wooden box casing or take out the metal insertion? Or do you have any diagrams or photos of what it looks like opened up? thanks! |

You would be destroying an antique... use instead a rack type or small Tv/speaker shelf.

It looks like it's similar enclosure that Tivoli radios have.
![]() Open those six screws from back plate embeddings and then you can pull back panel out. Sometimes it's bit tight, but cranking it out (gently) with screw driver from screw holes helps. Front panel can be pushed out from inside box so that you wont scratch it trying pulling it outside. I guess there's nothing inside box except that 3" element at front plate and cable to back panel. I'd drill wall bracket holes to back panel, so there wont be visible holes on top panel. |
