Default A simple solution for SET amps. Opinons are welcomed

I will soon need a system of loudspeakers for my 15W SET amp. And want to get some performence in the lower octavers as well, even if this means using a SS amp.
But were to crossover.

In order to have a decent SPL i will need horns i think.

The most simple solution i am considering, is this:
A full range speaker(3 to 5 inches), horn loaded with a tractrix horn(have one-it goes to 170hz)
and 2 pa drivers (12 to 15 inches each) for the lower octaves. But this means i will croossover at 300 hz. This i don't like.

Any other solution?

Nothing wrong with a crossover at 300Hz. I'm an octave higher and it sounds fine.
What SPL do you need or desire? Have you measured in your room when it's playing loud?
And how big a speaker do you want - can you tolerate?

Under 600 you use a solid state? That would be a good thing. At 300 i will have no problem crossing over to the SS

I've used SS or tube under 600Hz. They sound different, that's all.

FWIW, I get ~85dB at the listening position with 1V RMS on both speakers. That's about 1/8th Watt for each channel.
