Default Altec-Lansing AMC-14 Speakers?

Hi Folks, A few months ago my dad was getting rid of his sound system, and would I like it? Yes, please! He had, a while back, some speakers called BICs. Knowing what they were, now, I wish I had grabbed them instead of letting them get tossed when the cones blew! As was, he ended up with a couple Altec-Lansing AMC-14 speakers, three-way. I didn't know what they were until I got to really looking. I'm familiar with Altec-Lansing quality from my automotive sound system days, but didn't know they had ever made home speakers. Anyway, they sounded pretty bad. I got into them and rebuilt them. Turns out one tweeter was shot, the other was on the way out, both subs were gone, and the only good stuff remaining were the mids, crossovers and cabinets. Problem is I had to guess on the wiring. Someone had been in there before and got it all mixed up and I had nothing to go on. I got them going OK according to pink noise, but something still sounded off. Found one of the mids out of phase -- I assumed they were OK since I didn't disconnect them. So, I'd like to verify my wiring but cannot find the schematic. Tweeter is red and yellow. Mid is brown and white. Sub is black and white (IIRC, may not) Can anyone help? I'm continuing to search the board, but haven't found anything on this as of yet. Thank you very much! Josh

Correction -- may be that these are something called American Monitor. Anyone heard of such an animal? I'm in the process of looking for my camera. Thanks!

Wow... that looks like it didn't insert paragraphs. Let's try this.

Anyway, I may be mistaken. Looking around for a couple hours I'm seeing that these may be something called American Monitor..? What do you know about these?

(hunting for camera...)

Thanks!

Josh
