hello
I want to build my own speakers. But I don't know **** about crossovers. I need some one to reply who has built a three way speaker including a woofer midrange and tweeter. 100 watts of power will be supplied to the speaker. How in the hell do you build get the right capacitors etc without something blowing up. And I dont want to read no book about it either. |

How do I figure out the right sparkplugs without blowing something up?" Buy a kit. You'll be much better off and happier. Otherwise, you're doomed to failure. Seriously.

With your attitude, only a kit or an existing design with a parts list is going to meet your needs. And don't forget to paint them green to support the 'Riders

Google search, search, and search some more. I did and voila! Have built OB, TL and Voigt speakers without blowing them up! A cap shouldn't blow up anything except if you place it somewhere in your amplifier, but if you are tinkering with your amplifier and have no idea about cap values then, well, you just wouldn't.
For your lack of interest in learning, a kit is the way to go.

Heh, never suspected to find sports related digs on an audio forum, riders do suck though. "And now for something completely different": I agree with the advice given by all the others; go buy a kit. Google "speaker kit". |
