I have mounted all drivers to the baffle including some speaker sealing tape.
I have made a slight adjust to my filter (se picture). Will this work good or what can be done to make it better? |

This may be a moot point as the board is fairly large, but ideally the axes of the coils should not be aligned. L3 should stand on its side with the axis at North-South and L2 should also be tipped sideways with its axis East-West... I think.

Yes I have seen the same but since it is a large board I thought it wouldn´t matter. Thanks anyway and I will maybe use that suggestion since it cannot hurt.

I think I understand now how it should be, the wires I added should only be to make connection and not used for woofer and tweeter connection (-).
See picture. |

yes but I am trying to arrange it now to avoid the extra wires, I know it should be more compact and smarter arranged, working on it.

Ok I think I have it, I hope the coils are not disturbing eachother!
I should probably turn the left coli 90 degrees and lay the big one down. See picture.. Last edited by Starre; 30th October 2011 at 10:43 PM. |

The peerless tweeter have some white paint next to one terminal, is that + or -?
