Default home theater bookshelf

1)I'm 75% sold on Hsu's bookshelves for a home theater setup
HSU HB-1 Horn Bookshelf Speaker
Can anyone point me to good DIY plans for great bookshelves that would be better at a reasonably comparable price? Budget is flexible - value is way more important that price alone (3x better for 2x the price is a perfectly acceptable answer).

B) These Dayton cabs for MTM (and others in the line) seem like a wonderful value/time savor... has anyone had experience building something wonderfull with them? Dayton MTMC-0.75CH 0.75 ft³ MTM Curved Cabinet Cherry 302-743

Any advice on either sort-of-related topic is greatly appreciated.

The HSUs are balanced sounding bookshelves, however like the majority of horns, they do begin to sound colored at higher SPLs.

6.5" 2 way, 2khz crossover, 12db woof, 18db tweet, magnet grill fasteners, 7 year warrantee, 3/4" mdf (.5ft3 parts express boxes run $100 each), treated paper cone, $150 each and their 30 day no question return policy, I'd snatch some up b4 they have to raise the price (neo, hello ?).

I never heard them. Instead I got 3 klipsch rb75's (and sold them, I'm more of diy guy). But I almost got the hsu's.
